PLOT

HiGH&LOW: The Red Rain (2016) follows the story of the Amamiya brothers—Masaki and Hiroto—two fearsome fighters known for their strength and loyalty. A year has passed since their eldest brother, Takeru, mysteriously disappeared. Determined to uncover the truth behind his vanishing, Masaki and Hiroto begin searching for clues, which eventually lead them to the edge of the underworld ruled by corrupt forces and dangerous gangs.

Their investigation brings them into contact with Aika Naruse, a young woman connected to Takeru's past. Through Aika, the brothers begin to unravel a dark conspiracy involving a powerful organization involved in illegal arms dealing and political corruption. As they get closer to the truth, they also confront painful memories of their shared past and the emotional scars left by Takeru's absence. Their bond as brothers is tested, but it only grows stronger as they face increasing threats.

In the final confrontation, the Amamiya brothers take on overwhelming odds, showcasing their combat prowess in intense, stylized action sequences. Their fight is not just physical but emotional, as they struggle to uphold their brother’s ideals and bring justice to those who wronged him.
