Toshimitsu Chimura (千村 利光) is a Japanese film and television director born on August 12, 1974, in Kanagawa Prefecture. He began his career as an assistant director, contributing to various productions before making his directorial debut in 2007 with the television drama Weekly Akagawa Jirō: Summer Vacation. His 2012 short film Keno Shiru received acclaim, winning awards at the Kashikojima and Takasago Film Festivals.
Chimura is known for his versatility, directing a wide range of genres including action, romance, comedy, and music videos. His notable works include the action-packed series HiGH&LOW: THE STORY OF S.W.O.R.D. (2016), the fifth installment of the Majisuka Gakuen series (2015), and the culinary drama Wakako Zake (2015). He also directed the suspense drama Haburashi / Onna Tomodachi (2016) and contributed to the Prince of Legend film series (2018–2020).
