Shoichiro Masumoto (増本庄一郎), born on July 10, 1969, in Osaka, Japan, is a versatile figure in the Japanese entertainment industry, known for his work as an actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. Standing at 178 cm tall, he possesses specialized skills in kendo, sword fighting, and horse riding.
Masumoto began his career in 1989 and has since been active in various facets of the entertainment world. He was previously affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo (1990–2005) and Humanité (2006–2016) before joining LDH JAPAN in 2018.
His acting credits span a range of films, including notable roles in "Versus" (2000), "Crows Zero" (2007), "Crows Zero II" (2009), "Goemon" (2009), and "Trick The Movie: Psychic Battle Royale" (2010). More recently, he appeared in the "CONNECT -Hasha e no Michi-" series (2024) and the "Oda Doushikai" V-Cinema series (2021–2022).
