PLOT

Kaburagi Kazeo, a new transfer student at Suzuran All-Boys High School, witnesses a group of students struck by a passing town car on his way to school. He arrives just in time for the infamous “opening ceremony” — a fight between the school’s top fighter, Goura Toru, and another student. The duel is interrupted by the arrival of another transfer student, Kagami Ryohei, whose arrogant attitude quickly angers the crowd. Recognizing Ryohei’s vehicle as the one from earlier, Kazeo confronts him, but Ryohei walks off without a word. Before Kazeo can follow, he’s attacked by a student named Wajima, whom he floors with a single punch.

At the Doberman Bar, former mob enforcer Katagiri Ken tries to stay under the radar but runs into Makise Takashi, who talks him into working at a local auto dealership. Meanwhile, Kazeo learns he’s now ranked fifth at Suzuran after beating Wajima. Ogisu Kenichi suggests they team up to go after Goura’s spot, but Kazeo declines. As Ryohei proves himself a skilled fighter, tensions grow. Later, Kazeo and Kenichi get into a brawl with Shibata Hiroki from rival Kurosaki Industrial High. Ken adapts to his new life and becomes fond of Aya, the dealership owner, but trouble arises when a local mob, led by Mr. Nara, tries to seize the property. Ken meets Ryohei and Fujiwara — a former Kurosaki student turned gangster — and is troubled to learn Ryohei is being groomed as Nara’s heir.

Kazeo’s visit to the cemetery with his mother reveals a painful past involving his late boxer father and his mother’s struggles. Meanwhile, Fujiwara begins provoking a gang war between Kurosaki and Suzuran to get revenge on Shibata. His plan works: Goura retaliates and ends up stabbed by a Kurosaki student. Shibata is later defeated by Fujiwara, and Ryohei’s gang intensifies their attacks, injuring Kenichi and defeating Goura to claim Suzuran’s top spot. Fujiwara and Ryohei torch the Nakata shop, prompting Ken to beg Kazeo to intervene. Motivated by the chaos, Kazeo gathers allies, including Goura, to take back the school.

The climactic battle sees Kazeo and his crew face off against Ryohei and Fujiwara. Goura takes down many foes despite his injury but is soon overpowered by Fujiwara. Before Fujiwara can finish him off, Shibata appears, prompting Fujiwara to reflect on his past and withdraw. Kazeo finally confronts Ryohei in a fierce one-on-one fight and comes out on top. Ken arrives to take the defeated Ryohei away from the clutches of the Nara Gang, hoping to give him a chance at redemption.

In the aftermath, the Nakata dealership is rebuilt and thriving. Kazeo, now Suzuran’s strongest fighter and a unifying figure, stands at the brink of full domination. But one challenge remains — the legendary Rindaman. The story closes as their long-awaited battle begins.
