After the events of the first film, Chisato and Mahiro are still struggling to adjust to normal life while working as professional assassins. Their lives take a sharp turn when they are suspended by the assassination guild due to administrative issues, including missed payments and lack of professionalism. Forced to find new part-time jobs to support themselves, they reluctantly enter the civilian workforce once again, despite being hilariously unsuited for it.
At the same time, two ambitious young assassins, Makoto and Yuri, are looking for their big break. Seeing Chisato and Mahiro as obstacles to their own entry into the guild, the duo sets out to eliminate them. This sets up a confrontation between the old guard of quirky, chaotic killers and the new, more polished assassins trying to make a name for themselves.
Throughout the film, Chisato and Mahiro juggle bizarre part-time gigs with increasingly dangerous encounters, resulting in a series of creative and intense fight sequences. From battles in mascot costumes to chaotic chases through junkyards, the film ramps up both the action and the comedy while exploring the odd friendship between the two leads.
As tensions rise, the two pairs of assassins clash in a final showdown, leading to a blend of explosive action and comedic resolution. In the end, Chisato and Mahiro prove that despite their unorthodox methods and personal flaws, they’re still among the most dangerous and unpredictable assassins around.
