PLOT

In Kingdom 2: Far and Away, the State of Qin faces a massive invasion from the neighboring State of Wei, led by the brilliant General Go Kei. In response, King Ying Zheng mobilizes his forces under the command of the instinct-driven General Duke Hyou. They march to intercept the overwhelming enemy army at the sprawling Dakan Plains, setting the stage for a brutal confrontation.

​Shin, an ambitious war orphan dreaming of becoming the world's greatest general, joins his first formal military campaign as a lowly foot soldier. To survive the chaotic infantry charge, he forms a five-person squad—known as a "go"—alongside his childhood friends, an unassuming leader, and a mysterious, fiercely quiet sword-fighter named Kyoukai.

​Thrust onto the front lines, Shin's squad is immediately tested by Wei's devastating weaponized chariots. Amidst the bloodshed, Kyoukai's tragic past is revealed: she is a highly trained assassin from the mystical Shiyuu clan, driven solely by revenge. However, Shin's unwavering optimism and fierce combat drive begin to thaw her cold exterior, forging a powerful bond of camaraderie among the ragtag squad.

The battle culminates in a sweeping clash across the plains. Shin distinguishes himself by fearlessly charging into the enemy ranks, inspiring the Qin forces and creating a crucial opening for a decisive duel between the rival commanders. Ultimately, Qin secures a hard-fought victory, marking Shin's triumphant first steps onto the grand stage of warfare.
