PLOT

DTC -Yukemuri Junjou Hen- from High&Low (2018) follows the trio of Dan, Tettsu, and Chiharu (DTC), who have grown tired of their usual lives in SWORD and decide to embark on a carefree motorcycle journey. Their goal is to find adventure and freedom, away from the gang conflicts that dominate their hometown. Eventually, they arrive at a hot spring inn in a quiet rural town, where they decide to stay and work for a while.

At the inn, they meet the kind-hearted yet troubled proprietress, Mari, and her daughter Megumi. Mari is struggling to keep the business afloat, and tensions arise when Megumi’s boyfriend, Miyazawa, appears to be a source of distress. As DTC spend more time there, they uncover a heartfelt love story between Mari and Miyazawa, marked by misunderstandings and unresolved feelings. Determined to help, the trio takes it upon themselves to mend the rift between them.

Using their usual mix of humor, enthusiasm, and clumsy but sincere efforts, DTC set various plans in motion to bring Mari and Miyazawa together. Their antics range from matchmaking schemes to heartfelt conversations, all while they learn valuable lessons about love, perseverance, and personal growth.

In the end, their efforts bear fruit as the couple reconciles, bringing a sense of warmth and closure to the story.
